Shooting Schedule
Original filming schedule
Our original filming schedule was straight forward as we had our whole idea properly planned out. We knew what order to film our scenes in and where to film them. Our first filming time slot was manageable to complete, however it was the second filming time slot that the issues occurred. The issues resulted in us scrapping the whole idea, which made all the correct footage useless and delayed what we had intended to film (flash back sequence). So we had to come up with an alternative filming idea to correct the problems we had faced. After we had our idea sorted out we had to create a second filming schedule.
Our second filming schedule was even more simpler than the first, as the news report scene was no longer to be physically shown but to be played as audio over the top of another scene. We also changed location of one scene to make it more suitable as we also changed what happens in the scene.

Editing
Once we uploaded all our new footage onto the macs, it was time to edit. Firstly, we got rid of all the scenes that we didn't need. Next, we put the flashback scenes into black and white, by doing this it makes it easier for the audience to define the past and the present. We then imported the voice over that Michael recorded for us, and put it in the appropriate place so it lined up with our footage. At the moment our recording is slightly too short for our footage, so we may need too re-record it. We put flash transitions between the present footage and the flashback scenes, therefore it seemed like someone was thinking back to the night of the incident.
The next stage was to find a suitable soundtrack, we played this during the flashback scenes. The music we decided to use fitted our story line very well.

Difficulties with filming
Since my last post, we have decided to change our main filming task quite drastically. Instead of Alfie appearing on the televison as a news reporter, we have now recorded a voice over that we can play over the top of our filming, reporting the incident. It is not just a normal voice over though, we filmed me tuning a radio, so it looks as if the report is on a radio station.
We had to scrap our original idea as it proved to difficult to film. When we tried to film the over- the-shoulder shot of me watching Alfie on the screen, it just came out as a blur. So we had to come up with a new idea. Our new idea was much easier to film, we managed to do most parts of it in one or two takes.

Filming Our Main Task
We came up with a really good idea for our main task a few weeks ago, it involved us filming Alfie acting as a news reporter, then we planned to wire up the camera to the television so it looked as if Alfie was actually on the TV. but since then we have learnt that it may be harder than we anticipated.
After filming our first scene, we uploaded it onto the macs. It was at this point we noticed the sound was not very clear. This was probably because we filmed on a windy day, so there was too much background noise.
In our next filming session, we filmed at Alfie's house. We also had to re-film our first scene, however this time we tweeked the script so it flowed better. During our filming, there was a power cut, therefore it look us longer than we expected to film that scene.
Another scene we filmed that day was of me in the living room, watching Alfie's new report on televison. We included a match on action shot as i walked into the room, and also an over the shoulder shot of me watching the television.

Props
One of our scenes is going to filmed in one of our living rooms, so everything in that room could be classed as props.
Target Audience
We have decided to rate our thriller film as a 15 certificate, as the context of our production may be found disturbing for a younger audience.
There is no blood and gore in our footage, however violent behaviour is insinuated.
It is designed to be aimed at both genders. Our main character is female, so we hope this will interest women aswell as men.
